Spyderco | Military Model - Fluted Titanium

No Spyderco folder has lent itself better to innovation and variation than our Military Model. Using this model we've produced a parade of unique renditions with upgraded blade steels, handle colors and materials. We consider it Spyderco's poster child, putting a face to our commitment to C.Q.I. - Constant Quality Improvement. The latest is the Fluted Titanium Military Model.

The Fluted Titanium Military Model features the original's ergonomics and function with an artist's eye aimed at making it as attractive as it is practical. Its titanium front scale is channeled in a seashell pattern.

The titanium back scale doubles as a R.I.L. - Reeve Integral Lock® with the scale functioning as an arm, locking the blade open. Adopting the handle scale as part of the lock eliminates needing internal handle liners and the folder can be manufactured slimmer and lighter in profile while retaining strength. Further enhancing Reeve's lock design is a stainless steel insert, positioned and double pinned, where the lock engages safeguarding consistent solid lock-up.

Its CPM S30V PlainEdge flat-ground blade has an oversized Spyderco Round Hole supporting one-hand deployment even in a gloved hand. Choil and spine jimping create tactile resistance for better control by stopping forward or backward slipping when sawing or cutting aggressively. Open handle construction makes it convenient for maintaining and cleaning accumulated dirt and debris collected inside the folder by flushing with water or compressed air. Proudly manufactured in Golden, Colorado

Our Fluted Titanium Military Model is uncomplicated, functional and field-ready exemplifying everything Spyderco reaches to accomplish: quality, reliability, and function.

Care and Maintenance

To keep your Spyderco knife performing at its best, clean the blade with warm soapy water and a soft cloth after use. For tougher grime, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. If debris accumulates, use compressed air to clear the pivot and hard-to-reach areas. Ensure your knife is completely dry before applying a drop of lubricant to the pivot for smooth operation. Avoid disassembling your knife unless absolutely necessary, and always follow proper reassembly practices. Store your knife in a dry place and avoid prolonged contact with moisture.
