Starting with the time-tested alloy formula of VG-10 stainless steel, SPY27 increases the volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium and adds niobium and nitrogen. Crucible Industries’ state-of-theart particle metallurgy manufacturing process then ensures a uniform distribution of these alloys throughout the steel for an extremely homogenous microstructure and maximum performance.
