As its name implies, the Police 3 is the third-generation expression of Spyderco’s classic Police Model. This full-service cutting tool combines all the defining features of the original design with the enhanced grip security of textured black G-10 handle scales. The blade of the Police 3 is crafted from VG-10 stainless steel and has a full-flat grind and a PlainEdge cutting edge for exceptional edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance.
It also proudly boasts Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole for quick, positive one-handed opening. Full-length stainless steel liners in the handle ensure superior strength and provide a secure foundation for the knife’s high-strength back lock mechanism. They also offer a solid platform for a four-position pocket clip that supports tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body. This feature, along with the back lock mechanism, and the blade’s Trademark Round Hole™ make carry and all aspects of the Police 3’s operation completely ambidextrous.

To keep your Spyderco knife performing at its best, clean the blade with warm soapy water and a soft cloth after use. For tougher grime, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. If debris accumulates, use compressed air to clear the pivot and hard-to-reach areas. Ensure your knife is completely dry before applying a drop of lubricant to the pivot for smooth operation. Avoid disassembling your knife unless absolutely necessary, and always follow proper reassembly practices. Store your knife in a dry place and avoid prolonged contact with moisture.
